Hi ALL
I have a report in which, the end user has to select the date range..................for this i created parameters for the "from date" and the "to date". But when the report is displayed, it must give the monthly summary....................ie like
jan
prime
sub
feb
prime
sub
...........
..........
.........
........
like that..............................any ideas is greatly appreciated.

If you have parameters with filters on a date column, there is nothing preventing you from selecting the month (and sum the numbers per month) in the report and not the date column itself. What is the problem?
