Dear all,

I need some help, Confused

i have an oracle discoverer on citrix via network, and i need to manage my reports(Workbooks) by such categories.
like 4 example:

category1: failed students ==> which contains all the reports that are related to failed.
category2: Attendance ==> which contains all the reports that are related to attendance.
category3: Marks ==> which contains all the reports that are related to marks..... ETC.

any one can help me, any ideas will be appreciated. Smile

Are you sure that the version of Discoverer you mention (3.1) is correct? You are aware of the fact that this version has been desupported for eh... ages?

Unfortunately this is the truth. Is there any way to group my reports? And if yes, does this version support this facility.

I'm sorry, it has been too long for me since I worked with that version. I can not remember if there was any foldering or something like that for workbooks.

Only thing I can think of is to create various users (like FAILED, ATTENDANCE - funny usernames by the way) and store the workbooks under the appropriate user. However, that would mean you would have to login (again) if you want to have a workbook from another category.

yah its very funny, i also thought about this idea, but its boring to logout and login again to different user.

No problem...

By the way, you can share workbooks among users. So, if you create them under usernames like FAILED and ATTENDANCE, then share them all to user MY_WORKBOOKS or whatever name you like, then they will appear under the username but still can be used by that single user.

(if it's any consolation, I've just checked and in the latest version, 10, you can not organize your workbooks neither... - as far as I can find that is)
