I'm using an ODBC call (SQLExecDirect) in C++ code to execute a stored procedure which does some application specific cleanup and them calls dbms_refresh.refresh. The stored procedure works fine when executed from SQLPlus, and the code executes other stored procedures ok. In this case, however, I get an error "client database failed to begin a transaction". Help?

Figured it out. If you're using an 8.1.x ODBC driver, you have to check the "Disable MTS" workaround option.
