I am connecting to 8i using JDBC thin driver. The connections work fine, I'm not getting any errors, but occasionally making a JDBC call (getConnection, createStatement, setAutoCommit) will take exactly 62 seconds. The calls always return successfully, but they seem to be waiting for something. I am using connection pooling. Any ideas would be appreciated.
