Hi All,

I am New in Oracle, I have installed Oracle-8.1.6.1 R2 in Linux RedHat-6.2 successfully. I want to start database when start Linux box and similarly shutdown.

I have made changes on /etc/oratab and created file dbora as explain by Oracle Documentation and linked too.

But it was not automating.

Please help me.
