I install OEL and Oracle 10g successfully. I created a database successfully.During backup the cp command s not working. It shows error like "bash: command not found". But the same cp command was worked in root user. Is there is any problem?

Check your PATH and compare with root one; nothing missing?
For both, post the result of:
which cp
