Hi All,

It is happy to come back,
I just need a clarification on the below question.

Eventhough the users are not logged in why the V$SESSOIN shows the SID and why many times?

Even though you are not using the Data Base! Oracle has to perform its Internal Operations

Background and other Oracle processes.

Welcome back, I see you had not time to read Database Concepts, too bad it would answer most of your questions.

Also you are still unable to use the good old copy in text mode.
I will teach you:
First use the mouse, go to the first character, click on the left button, slide to the last character; then go to the button left of the title bar and named "C:\", click on it, go down to the "Modify" item, go left in the popup bow, slide down to "Copy".
In the end go to OraFAQ window,, click on the /forum/fa/8532/0/ button, slide move pointer between the 2 code tags then type Ctrl-V or Shift-Insert.

Regard
Michel
