hi..
jrew.exe has stopped working when iam trying to install oracle8i on WINDOWS 2008 SERVER
pls reply...

You are trying to install an old database version on a (relatively) new operating system. Oracle 8i was no longer supported when Microsoft released Windows 2008, so - this combination was never certified.
Therefore, there's nothing much you can do - you can try to install it (obviously, it doesn't go smoothly) or switch to a supported database + operating system combination.
