Oracle Reports Page Number Problem [message #527235]

Hi
I am newbie to Oracle Reports
If i insert page number through Insert->Page Number
Its working fine
But my issue is when it exceeds a limit
it does not show page number properly
Eg:From 1000 its showing only 1 digit

Is this the limit for tht option?

If not if i just expand and test for that how can i test without records for 1000 pages
Is there an option for this or i should try with Field Option and setting source as Page Number?

Please help me

Using Reports 10g (by the way, which version do you use?), I just did the same - inserted a page number (Top Right). Report with ~1500 pages displays the number correctly. Also, I don't think that there's such a limit (at least, not the one that should bother you).

Anyway: go to Paper Layout editor, click the "Edit margin" button. Find the "page number" field and try to enlarge it (if that's the culprit).

I Use reports 10g
I tried Expanding the page number field
But i am not sure of testing this
Since i don't have enough data(for >1000 pages) for this to be tested
