I have an application that is hooked up to ORACLE 9i and there are some screens that are quite slow. While I wait for the response from my application vendor, I would like to do some basic troubleshooting and concur that with the vendor.

Can anyone guide me what I should look for? i.e. what logs or what settings/configurations?

Please advise. Thanks!

Then provide the required and usual information.

You can also have a look at Database Performance Tuning Guide.
