hello,
i am making a report in hrd regarding gross, deduction and there difference. I hv an attribute in the table as indicator whose value is addition and deduction. i want the sum of both in two diff column in a single rep.
i want the report dept wise.

but i m getting fatal error at run time. which i don't understand.. please help me regarding this....

It is rather difficult to guess. If you don't understand the error message, how do you expect us to understand it when you didn't even post it? Is it one of ORA-, REP-, or any other message? Or did Reports Builder simply crash? If the latter, the reason might be in (possible) unsupported combination of Developer Suite you use with operating system (MS Windows 2000?). Check certification matrices on My Oracle Support to make sure.

atually the error is in report..... if r not getting then iwill send u the report exactly

The fatal error will have an error code and an error message.
Post them.
