Welcome to the forum. Please read our OraFAQ Forum Guide and How to use [code] tags and make your code easier to read

You need to provide more information before anyone can assist. What VM software are you using? Can you connect to the VM from the host with (for example) putty? What problem are you having?

Can you ping the virtual machine from your host?

If yes, then you're 90% there already.

If not, then you need to adjust your VM network adapter so that you can reach the vm from your host.

OR

You can install SQL Developer and run it inside the VM. One of the nice things about the tool is that it runs natively on Linux machines.

>i am unable to connect my oracle database which is located in my VM, i am trying to connect through SQL DEVELOPER.
we only know what you post.

you posted the equivalent of below.
My car won't go.
Tell me how to make my car go.

We understand you have a problem,
but you have provided NO actionable details.
We don't even know for sure upon which system SQL Developer is installed.

You have a mystery & we have no clues by which as help solve this mystery.
Do you get some sort of error message? If so, what exactly is it?
