So far, I have visited 6 out of these 20 & hope to get at least 6 more.

I find the UNESCO list too big to handle. I've physically been to several of the places - but does falling over from drinking too much while happening to be in Paris count as having visited http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/600 ? Does being booked into a hotel for work that happened to be around the corner from the Opera House do for http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/166 ? Probably not. They are pretty ordinary places. Perhaps the UNESCO list includes too many places that are there only because the listing may boost tourist revenue.
