Hi i am getting the OCIEnvCreate failed with return code -1 but error message text was not available
The operating System is windows 7 32 bit, when run through administrator it workes fine hence please
help me on this

In Win 7 you need to "Run as administrator" while installing the client. Could you explain the steps you followed.

* I have installed my application in folder other than (x86) although it is a 32 bit application.

So both the OS and the application are 32 bit? Then of course you would also need the 32bit Oracle client and drivers to connect to the database, the 64 bit drivers won't work.
