Hi,
How to call sqlloader utility from oracle forms?
I dont have oracle client installed in my machine.
I have only oracle form6i in my machine.

The control files and data files am dynamically creating in my machine.
No manual entry should be involved in this process. So i cant go to unix prompt and execute this sqlloader rather i should click a button in my form and then it should go and load the table.
Here i can use insert into statements, but that is not feasible in this context in my application.
Please guide me~~~~
Thanks in Advance

i have no idea about forms (whether it has its own sqlldr or not?).
but you need to install oracle client / server to get the sql*loader executable.
From the client (forms), you can still fork a process to connect to unix server and execute the sqlldr).

calling sqlldr from my drives like c:\ [message #73482 is a reply to message #72421] Mon, 10 May 2004 02:44 Go to previous message
