Hi,

I am trying to load the staging area for a datamart using the export/import utilities. I exported a particular table from the source database with a fairly powerful account. When I try to import it into the staging database (using another account) it gives me the following error:

"IMP-00013: only a DBA can import a file exported by another DBA".

How can I get around this? I tried to create a database user on the staging area with the same account name, but that gave the same result.

Any ideas are welcome, also change of loading strategy can be considered....

exp dbadmin@sourcedb owner=scott

-- to import login as dba, import into user XXX
imp dbadmin@targetdb fromuser=scott touser=xxx
