I need to keep two databases in Sync over a network.
For eg. if a object in one Database gets updated the object in the other DB should get updated instantly. what are the various options available of doing the same? and where can I find more information about them?
Please enlighten.

If you are using Enterprise Edition you may consider Oracle's Advanced Replication. Here is a link to a tech note I have written which can provide some ideas to consider when planning Advanced Replication:

One of the critical aspects of replication which is handled by these scripts is the implementation of a robust method of conflict resolution.

Another method to consider is creating a Standby database - which should be done if upon looking at the above tech note you determine that Replication is not appropriate for your installation.
