HI Guys,

 

Can somebody help me.

In my system root user is having default shell as "sh". I have changed the default shell of root user as "ksh".

Now problem is I am not able to login into the system in console.

When i am trying to login. I am getting message "NO SHELL"

can somebody tell me how to solve this problem or i have re-install the Sun Solaris.

Hi,

This is a common mistake - ksh is in a different
directory than sh. You will need to boot from your
Solaris Install CD, boot -s, mount your root
partition, and fix the /mnt/etc/passwd file.
