I want to run the command "SET ESCAPE " before running the SQL command using JDBC. I want to set the escape character to the Oracle as the updation involved a long sentence with lot of special characters.

Im not sure of the way to run the SQL* Plus command. Please provide the input to run a SQL* Plus command
