Hi !

When I am using oracle express objects to build a report, and selection of all values of person dimension (7800 values) gives me a error stating that "Maximum number of rows retrieved > 5000. Limit your dimensions"

I have changed the COLFETCHLIMIT and ROWFETCH LIMIT in xobjects.ini but that still didnt work.

can u suggest an alternative ??

Nagesh,

The table object within OEO only allows a maximum of 5000 rows to be selected. This is a limitation that cannot be overwritten. The idea is that people creating analytical reports should not need to retrieve more data. Unfortunately, this is not always the case.
