This Project deals with Customer Orders. The marketing Department receives Orders from Customer/Prospector. A contract review will be done with the coordination of PPC, Production and Quality Control and after accepting the Order customer information is entered into customer master and specifications of the product required will be entered into the Customer Product master. Once the Order is released the PRODUCTION PLANNING AND CONTROL DEPARTMENT (PPC) plans to Produce Required products for that Order.

CRSS PRODUCTION MONITORING SYSTEM

This system handles various activities of the Cold Rolled Steel Strips Division of PSL. The modules involved are Raw Material, Work Order, Production System, Quality Assurance Module and Finished Good Inventory. To process customer orders, work Orders is generated by combining the various orders based on the availability of finished goods, in process rejection material, slit stock and Raw material. Schedule plans for each resource are generated by on the basis of minimum and maximum capacity of the mill and output it can produce per hour. Provisions are made for various functions executed by QAD in this module. Raw Material Property card, product inspection details at each work center can be captured using this module. Analysis of product rejection and reasons for diversion of products can be generated.
