Regarding Workorderless Completions in 11i WIP (in my case 11.5.8): When I open the Components form on a WOC & see 1 line with 1 component item, should I be able to go to that existing line and change the item to its substitute item from the BOM? I don't seem to be able to do such substitution.
Instead, I have to DELETE the defaulted component line and add a new line for the substitute item -- however, I can add any activated item on this new line, not just the "official" substitute for the component on the BOM.
Any explanation of how this is supposed to work would be appreciated.
