My server is running Version 11.00 32bit. Is the 32 to 64 bit conversion hardware based? I know Oracle9i runs on a 64 bit platform. Which Oracle version can run on a 32 bit HP platform.

Hi,

If the hardware is capable of running 64-bit software, you will be able to load 64-bit OS and DB software on it. Otherwise, stick to the 32-bit OS and DB software.

Best regards.
