How do we register reports in Apps? [message #143268]

Hi to everyone.
Can any one tell me that after modification and compilation of report what steps we take to register it in AOL.
In what window and how we register it.

Hi Dear

can u plz tell me is it a new report mean it was already ragisterded fefor modification or wat.
if it was already registered then save the Orignal One as a backup and place the ur report on the server with the same name
if there is know change in the value sets and all.

application developer responsibilty--
concurrent > executable
executable name --any valid name ****1****
short name --any valid name
application--application where u have placed ur report
execution method --select Oracle Reports
execution file name-- give the name of the report without rdf

save it

go to concurrent > program

Program --any valid name understandable for person who would be running report
short name--any name
application--application where u have placed ur report

Executable
-----------
name -***1****

if u have any parameters click parametrs tab and add them

save it

If u need to assign this report to a responsibility.

go to security>responsibility>define
query ur responsibility and copy the name of request group name

now go to security>responsibility>request

query the request group name that u have copied and and add an entry in requests
select program for type and select the report name and save it.

go to that responsibility and u should be able to see that report and u can run that.

hi
i assume that u want to register a new report and here is the way u do it,
go to the application developers responsibility.folllow the navigation.
Concurrent -> Program -> Executable .
fill the form and dont forget to select ORACLE REPORTS IN execution method.
SAVE
Navigate to: Concurrent -> Program -> Define .
FILL THEIS FORM..
atach this to ur request group which in turn attached to ur responsibility.

and if u follow these steps ,,u should be able to run ur request through view -> request->submit(select ur request here).

Hi,

Another way is to use Sql Scripts for registering reports which will eliminate the need for you to register from front end
