Great evening to all.
Can any one tell me how do we create links in reports.
I mean hyperlink to which we click and go to that destination of which we provide the path.

EX-

EMP ID DEPT ID SAL LOCTION
A B C D
x B I Z

Here i write a simple tabular report now i want that when
i click on 'A' then i get the another report relavant to EMP ID 'A'.
Hyperlink (Web) option are also in the Property palette for items in reports, but i dont know whether it is what i want or something different.

I hope you all get it what exactly i want to say.
Now i am waiting for reply.

Shaila.

I think your question is related to subreports. I don't think so that Oracle Reports supports "Subreports" (not sure) , But we do use "Crystal reports" (Another OLAP reporting sw) where we can generate subreports.

David actually i want to show you the simple tabular report which contains these four columns EMP_ID, DEPT_ID, SAL and LOCTION.

Is this possible that when i click on the emp_id record then it shows another report.
Just like links.
Now i hope that you will get it.

No I don't get it.

Please answer the question: are you using Oracle Forms or Oracle Reportwriter or another tool?
