I am trying to build a mass allocation formula for the following:

Create a stat figure based on rev/comp of each office/dept (segment 2 and 3) outside of Oracle and then upload this value into oracle as a STAT account (segment 4). The problem is that the stat is four decimals which Oracle cuts off into two and with this, 3/4th of the office/dept combinations would equal zero. Other then multiplying and dividing out by 100, is there any way that Oracle will accept a four decimal stat to use for mass allocations?

Multiply all of the STAT values by 100. Then the sum of the values will be 100 times greater, so the calculations will still work.

Try it on paper first, if you want to prove it to yourself.

Cool HTH

David.
