Discoverer Privileges Not Working [message #170623]

I used Discover Administrator (version 10.1.2.1) to set privileges on roles (removing administrator and Desktop and Plus privileges). However, when I assign a user to these roles through the Oracle User Management application and then login to Discoverer Administrator to check that the user's administrator, desktop and plus privileges have been removed which reflect their role, I find that the desktop and plus privileges are checked.

Any ideas why the user is not getting the same privileges as his role?
