In a report type group above or group left, if there is no data in the detail table the report builder does not display the group/master data e.g Mr. X has no transaction between the given dates then Mr. X master data will not be displayed by the group above or group left report. How we can cop with such type of problem. Would you please help me.

Ok i am goating an example such as the customer id and customer name exist in the master record but he has not purchased any thing in given date range but the user's requirement is that when we enter the customer id and date range then customer id, customer name, his opening balance and closing balance must be displayed in the report. So i have develop a report using format group above on the table of customer and sales. Now if there is no any sales between the given dates then report does not display the customer id, customer name, opening balance, closing balance. I have tried to further clarify my problem. Would you please help me.
