hi
I know about table level security by using grant and revoke commands.
I want to know that at report level, how can i stop a user/KPO of my application that he could not open the a report?
Let me explain my probllem with simple example.
I have created a table EMP.
I have granted select, insert, update prviliges of the table EMP to a user named USER_A. Thus this user is succesfully entering data into this table emp.
Now i have created a simple report using : "Select * from emp"
My requirment is that USER_A should not be able to open this report.
How can i acheive my this objective.
A simple method known to me is to restrict him opeining at Menu level of the MAIN FORM of the application. But even then user_a can open it by acessing REP file directly.
Please comment/help.
