AOA!
Thanx 4 ur reply. The problem is that tables were not created by me. Someone create it and send me the table structure. I joined them by condition 'Where VCH1.VCD=VCH2.VCD' and another condition on which I get the debit credit figure along their Account Code is
(chrt.cod=vch2.cod). But the main problem is that I want total of accounts in it's parent account eg. I have account
Dbt Crd

010101--Parent Account of three below records
(0101010001 100
0101010002 200
0101010003 ) Child Account 400

Now in parent account balance would be either on Dbt side or Crd Side In this case the Parent account balance will become 300 on Dbt Side.
But I am getting only those record which are Child account of length 10. And when I remove that condition (chrt.cod=vch2.cod) then I also get the child records but I am unable to get the right balance for each account. So Please help me. If u don't mind can u give me ur personal email address so we can contant on messenger.
And I am sending u that ".rdf" file. So please solve this problem as soon as possible. The Query which I have used in it I have commented that condition (chrt.cod=vch2.cod) records are coming but not with proper balance. But as i will enable that condition the balance against that code will be right but there records will not contain their parent code.

Hi Ali,

I spend 11.pm to 12.30 p.m full 1.30 to solve your problem.
I have created 3 table which you have send and entered fake data into them and check your query.

as you are not taking the '--AND vc2.COD =ch.COD' and hence the oracle is returning the cartesian product.

I am sending a new report which I have developed so please tell me what is the progress from your side.

Bye
Ashu
