Dear all

I am trying to pass the Oracle userid and password from an
Operating system shell script to the SQL Forms 3.0...I have to
manipulate these two parameters in the Forms..I am using Oracle 7.0.

Kindly guide me as to how this can be achieved ...

I am surprised that folks are still using s/w that was obsoleted before the turn of this century.
I did not know that an OS script could interoperate with Forms 3
How does a command line interface interact with a GUI, when the input frame could exist anywhere & be called anything?
All in all a recipe for disaster, or at least more work that is worthwhile coding for.
