We have complex Oracle ERP reports. We face performance troubles since the discoverer is consuming large memory and CPU Database resources.

How do I make an Item Class that shows meanigful DESCRIPTION and when user selects the value only the ID will be efficiently merged into the query without loosing the index by type conversion.
