MATRIX REPORT TO EXCEL FILE [message #261353]

hi,
can any one help me out how to generate matrx report to excel file. i have done this . but the exact layout is not getting diplayed in the excel file.
I have attache the layout i ma trying to export to excel.

I am attaching the out put file also

Please help me out.....

RPT2XLS procedure is used ...

Hi, all.

I try to launch MATRIX_DEMO.rdf with inserted RPT2XLS.Run into AfterReport Trigger.
The parameters is
2008-05-07 17:04:59: startrep.exe "RWRUN.exe" userid="FOMICHEV/***@TEST10G" REPORT="c:\MATRIX_DEMO.rdf" PRINTJOB=NO DESTYPE=file DESNAME="1.xls" MODE=Bitmap COPIES=1 DESFORMAT=PDF BACKGROUND=No PARAMFORM=NO P_TITLE="Report"
as written in readme.txt.

But i receive bad XLS file as shown in picture below.

When i change DESFORMAT to DELIMITED, then i receive error message
REP-0069: Internal error
REP-57054: In-process job terminated:Terminated with error:
REP-1401: BACKGROUND is deprecated. See help for more information.
REP-1401: 'afterreport': Fatal PL/SQL error occurred.
ORA-43356: Message 43356 not found; product=RDBMS; facility=ORA

305500: non-ORACLE exception

I have Oracle Reports 10g ( 9.0.4), Windows 2000 SP 2, MS Office Excel 2003 Service Pack 3 and Oracle 10.2.0.3.0.

Can you help me ?

Sir Simple Report Is Possible,
Can U Tell Me Idea How To Convert Matrix Report With Have Group By Field,
In This The Col Function Count Sequence So The Location Cannot Proper Position In Xls

HI, I use the same package but for more then 3 columns . I call the rdftoxls.put_cell in the repeating frame which contains all the data that I want.
But I find in the excel, duplicate data for the first record of each report page.
Could you please help me with this?

Excellent Guidence.

Made my first experince wonderful and hence my love with orafaq is increased.
Thanks musman.

What i acheived is: Matrix Report converted in Excel. The column had two variables and so the sum field. The matrix data can be from 2 columns to 2 x n times.
