The query executes quicjkly, but on export writes the data in 24kb chunks, which is very problematic for large files (more than a million records).

Is there any way to speed up the export/write operation?

Copy the SQL statement, run in it SQL*Plus, use spool?
(Discoverer is not designed for exporting large volumes of data)
