the output of one of my oracle report looks gud excpet for a blank line every 1000th line.. i can see data from 1 to 999th line. 1000th line is blank. and 1001th to 1999 is full.2000 is blank. how can i get rid of this blank line

Are there groups in your report which are vertically separated by "one line"? If so, check the repeating frame properties and set vertical distance to 0.

If that's not the point, well, it is difficult to say. Reports Builder doesn't create an empty line because it thinks that this is a good idea. There *must* be something there which causes it to happen, but ... I don't know what.

Could you explain it a little bit more? Perhaps someone will know how to help you.

Try to increase the distance between the records. May be one record is "just vanishing" away. This sometimes happens when there are some additional lines put up for formatting purposes. Try removing some of the boilerplate / lines if you have put them.
