I am able to successfully login using both 4.1.37 and 9.0.4 Admin editions and created the EUL. Granted the one APPS user to one of the business area and gave all the previleges.

Here is the problem.

To begin with most of the oracle tools were installed on the PC.
The Oracle HOME is set to someother dir since the tools were installed already

Then i installed Disc 4.1.37 in C:\ORANT directory as a fresh install. (Disc Admin works fine but not User Edition).

So thought will try 9.0.4 and installed "C:\DISC_904" dir.
Still same issue (Admin works fine but not user edition).

When i tried to connect using Discoverer User Edition (4.1.37 or 9.0.4) it keeps giving me error unable to connect to applications database invalid username/password.

.
1. I have given the previleges in Admin edition.
2. I have put the GWUID values (APPLSYSPUB/PUB and APPS) as said in the document.
3. Enabled the option to connect using both standard and APPS mode.
4. I have even copied the .dbc file into "C:\ORANT\secure" dir.

Really appreciate if some can help me out. Trying to fix this for last 4 days.
