Carry forward TOTALS(Cumulative Total) [message #302785]

Hi,

I have report like this

first page

 deptno sal
 10     1000
 10     2000
 10     3000
  
  Total 6000

i need in the second page
 deptno sal
 20     1000
 20     2000

  Total 3000
    
GrndTot 9000 (Mean Prevous total+ this page total)

third page

deptno sal
30     2000
30     1000

 Total    3000
Grnd total 12000 (Mean 9000+3000)

Please any suggestion...

I searched in this forum also, but no solution..

any link or sample report?

Report Builder does not support setting a page break at a specific row of report output.

Hi,

I got the solution for this.. this quite simple logic only...

Assure G1 is group and having the details deptno,sal

Create on Summary column for sal in G1 Group and reset at G1

Create another one summary column for sal in G1 reset at report

Both summary columns should be in G1 group...

thats all...
