I want to disable few function keys in Developer Forms 10g for Linux, but Key trigers doesn't work

At the form level, define the triggers that you wish to 'de-activate' and code them with "begin; null; end;".

Yes I know this solution, but it is not working in Forms for Linux.

Bull!! All it means is that you have not identified the function keys that need to be 'over-ridden'. Create a 'when-others' trigger at the form level and use a 'message pause' pair to display the key that was pressed.

I have tried all these things, the trigger just dont fire in linux, it seems as if there is some problem with Linux version, i am doing this in Windows Platform without any problem.

I am also facing problem in copy paste during development of forms/reports and cant find any way out

Okay. You have done the work now tell use which 'key' triggers are not working, or is it ALL of them.

I am working on Oracle for last 13 years now. this is my first experience on Linux platform, and i am finding this problem. I am unable to disable any of the keys.

More information. Describe your configuration. What are YOU dong and what is the browser, in which your form is running, doing?

Oracle Form Builder 10.1 (Version 10.1.2.0.2)
Oracle Application Server 10g
Browser : Mozilla Fire Fox 1.5.0.3

All tiers are on different machines. we have a database server, an application server, and four machines for software development and also we have about 400 clients

Platform for the client and developement PCs is Red Hat Linux Desktop 4
and for Servers it is Red Hat Linux Enterprise 4

I am going to rename this thread from "Re: Enable/Disable Function Keys" and move it to the 'Linux' forum.

@Linux guys: Could one of you please reply with a link to the documentation for installing Oracle Database (and maybe Forms) onto Linux. If the cut/paste doesn't work in Forms I assume it also doesn't work in SQL*Plus.
